Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) was developed by Steven, professor of psychology at the University of Nevada. It was founded by Steven C.Hayes and colleagues in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. It is another important psychotherapy theory after cognitive psychotherapy. Along with MBSR, MBCT and DBT, it is known as the third wave of cognitive behavioral therapy.
Based on the scientific principles of ACT Acceptance Commitment therapy, we designed and developed the "ACT Life Happiness Course" to help and teach people practical psychological techniques (such as mindfulness) to effectively accept negative and painful thoughts and feelings and reduce their impact and effect. At the same time, it can help us clarify values, clarify the important and meaningful things in life, commit to and practice their own value-oriented behavior goals, so as to help people create a rich, fulfilling and meaningful life. The greatest effect of the ACT Life Happiness course is to help people create rich, fulfilling and meaningful happy lives, while accepting the inevitable pain of life.
